Cookie & Similar Technologies Policy
Pre-launch version 0.9 · Last updated 29 August 2026.
1. Current pre-launch state
The currently reviewed Bilveo marketing site does not implement GA4, Sentry, advertising trackers, product analytics, Bilveo cookie-setting logic or a cookie-consent mechanism. The site loads Paddle.js from Paddle's CDN on relevant pages; live checkout is not yet enabled in the reviewed configuration.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary: technologies needed for security, authentication, requested checkout and core service operation.
- Functional: optional technologies that remember non-essential preferences.
- Analytics: optional technologies used to measure website or product usage. These are not currently enabled in the reviewed website.
- Marketing: advertising, cross-site tracking or promotional profiling. These are not currently enabled.
3. Browser-local storage
The Bilveo application or extension may use browser-local storage for audit history, Kanban or preferences if confirmed in the production application. Local storage is not automatically the same as a traditional HTTP cookie, but privacy/ePrivacy rules can still apply depending on its purpose. The final production inventory will identify each relevant technology, purpose and lifetime.
4. Managing choices
If non-essential analytics, functional or marketing technologies are introduced, Bilveo will provide a preference mechanism appropriate to the applicable jurisdiction. Rejecting optional technologies will not block core service access unless the technology is genuinely necessary.
5. Updates
This policy will be reviewed whenever a new website script, analytics service, checkout component or tracking technology is deployed.
